inspire of many fold advancement made in concrete technology and the ability to produce high quality concrete, it has not been possible to really make waterproof structure. the problem of waterproofing roofs ,  walls, bathrooms, toilets, kitchen, basement, swimming pools, and water tanks etc. have not been much reduced. the are Numbers of materials and methods available in the country tor waterproofing purposes. but most of them fail due to one or the other reasons. waterproofing has remained as an unsold and complex problem. a successful waterproofing not only depends upon the quality and durability of materials but also the workmanship, environment and type of structures, leaving all other aspects, the materials part is only disused below.

it should be remembered that the use of plasticizers, super-plasticizers,air en training agents, puzolanic materials and the other workability agents, help in reducing the permeability of concrete reducing the requirement of mixing water and hence they can also be regarded as waterproof materials. in addition, there and other materials and chemicals available for waterproofing concrete structure.

Integral Water Proofing Compounds

CETEX WPSP are Integral Water Proofing Compounds. It makes concrete cohesive and prevents segregation. It acts both as highly efficient plasticizer and waterproofing compound, when the liquid is added to wet concrete or mortar.
 
The product conforms to IS: 2645-2003 as an ‘Integral Waterproofing Admixture’. It also complies with ASTM C 494 Type A and IS: 9103.

Super Plasticiser And Water Proofing Agents 

 

The super plasticiser and water proofing agents we supply under the brand name of ctex spwp are used in the construction. This material works as both an efficient plasticizer and a waterproofing compound. Cetex spwp is mixed with concrete to impart strength to the structure and to make it more resistant to water and moisture. Our manufactured spwp are in conformance with the astm-c-494 type a and is- 9103 standards.
