Out of the above method, some of them are not widely use these days because of some difficulties or drawbacks in the procedure for arriving at the satisfactory proportion.

the ACI Committee 211 Method. the DOE method and indian standard recommended method are commonly used. since concrete is very important. therefor, only the more popular and currently used method are described.
